YVEX System ArchitectureYVEX overview
YVEX is the open source execution runtime used by YAI. It is also available independently as a command-line product under the MIT license. A YAI account or paid license is not required for standalone use.
Follow the model lifecycle
- Acquire the supported source model or prepared GGUF representation.
- Prepare and verify a runtime binding for the intended backend and machine.
- Load, run and unload through the CLI.
A GGUF file is a model artifact, not a complete runtime installation. The binding and backend configuration matter alongside the file.
Choose a path
- Quickstart: the shortest supported CLI path.
- Model lifecycle: acquisition, preparation and execution.
- Prepared model catalog: exact files with recorded hardware-specific tests.
- Architecture: the runtime's internal boundaries.
Model family references
Qwen3.8 text and DeepSeek V4 Flash describe their own support and representation constraints. Do not infer compatibility for another family or machine from a successful run of one catalog entry.
Distribution
Downloads lists published packages. Until a package is listed for your platform, use the YVEX repository and its source-build instructions.
